Day 1: Linen Love

This pale green linen top is a beautiful and lucky yard sale find. It was a part of a group of clothes that were bought in the fashion of 1 bag = $1. When I heard that, you can bet your bottom that I rolled every article of clothing up and filled that bag to the brim.
The pants are some comfy pull-on skinny jeans from Ross: dress for less (a very fitting theme for this blog).
To not detract from the intricate embroidery, I chose a simple green necklace and white flats( both from yard sales) to tie the outfit together.
Finally, we have the white Ralph Lauren flats that were bought at a yard sale for the very low price of $2, and let me just say that these shoes have not let me down. I have worn them so often and the structure has never faltered. Always make sure that the clothes you buy have a great longevity, or are so low-priced that it doesn't even matter if they fall apart (preferably the former because they are of a better quality). Longevity means more bang for your buck since you can wear the clothes for years to come.
Shirt price:<10 cents
Shoes price:$2
Pants price: $10.39
Necklace price: 25 cents
Outfit price: about $12.70
Anything can be beautiful if you try hard enough.
