It all started with this shirt. I got it at a yard sale the other day along with the shoes and earrings. All over the shirt are flowers with beads acting as seeds in the middle. Rather than color match my jewelry to the shirt, I figured flowers with various materials in the middle would suffice. The red earrings have metal prongs, the yellow ring has a rhinestone, and the pink satin flowers on the necklace have pearls. The flowers provide a nice vibrancy to contrast the calm green of the shirt. Contrast can be just as good as matching perfectly. The shoes are a mix of brown and a green of the same shade as the shirt, with little beads strategically placed along the criss-crossed straps. Normally, I would not condone wearing sandals with such tall straps with long capris, but considering how little surface area the shoes actually have, I thought it looked fine. The ring and necklace came from other garage sales and the capris are from Ross so of course they are all low price.

If you are eyeing something at a store, yard sale, or even on the side of the road, the number one rule is to pick it up and decide later. Fate is a tricky little bugger and someone else will always grab it, leaving you dumbstruck and regretful.
