Day 50: Dreaming of Dragonflies

When I got this skirt, I thought, how can I pass up the opportunity to wear every piece of dragonfly jewelry that I own. It was just a happy coincidence that they all came together. Even if two pieces are not perfectly coordinated, another one like this bracelet with its green, red, and pink stones can tie them into the whole outfit. On another note, mixing patterns is possible if you know the basics, and the main thing to remember is that stripes are neutral. At the very least, the colors in the patterns should match. If two items of the same pattern are being used, then the colors can be different. Patterns should be paired in the form of one big and one small, such as large stripes and small polka dots. Normally, I am not a person who mixes patterns, but if the mood strikes me and two items look amazing together, then I will participate in the practice. Whenever I wear maxi dresses and skirts, I like to be able to see the tops of my feet, which means I generally wear sandals and flats with them. Today, pink ones were chosen that match the color of the stones in the bracelet and necklace. Everything is from yard sales, and that makes the end of this blurb pretty easy.
